What is your Review Policy?

We review books that fall under the contemporary female fiction umbrella. We do not review self published, ebook only or novella titles at this time, but we do offer interviews for digital women's fiction authors whose books are currently in the Top 300 Paid Kindle Chart.

We prefer to receive coverage requests via our email kirsty@novelicious.com rather than on twitter or facebook.

Kirsty Greenwood -  Founding Editor

Kirsty is a 31 year old fiction obsessive from Oldham. She likes American TV, shiny book covers, green clothes, Point Horror, Tina Fey and Amy Poehler (both together and individually), kind people and funny stories. She doesn't like the Ironside theme tune or the phrase 'nom, nom, nom'.

Debs Carr - Deputy Editor

Debs Carr lives in Jersey where she spends her free time writing novels in a shed with a grumpy Miniature Schnauzer for company.

 Her idea of exercise is walking the dog on the nearby beach with her gorgeous husband, and her book, Broken Faces, was a runner-up in Good Housekeeping 2012 Novel Competition and given a 'special commendation' by the Harry Bowling Prize 2012.

Amanda Keats - Contributor

Amanda is a 29 year old book and film buff from North London. Delighted that she's developed a bit of a reputation as being hard to please when it comes to books, Amanda is not afraid to speak her mind. As Novelicious's roving reporter, she has had the absolute pleasure of interviewing some of her favourite authors including Jodi Picoult, Rosamund Lupton, Jane Green and Nicholas Sparks. Her favourite book from recent years is still Sister by Rosamund Lupton but she loves a mixture from Jane Austen's 'Pride and Prejudice' to Audrey Niffenegger's 'The Time Traveller's Wife'.

When not reading or watching a film (or talking about it non-stop) she enjoys writing, nights out with her gals and nights in with popcorn and a film (or, if it's on - Doctor Who, Downton Abbey or Grey's Anatomy).

Anna Bell -   The Secret Dreamworld of an Aspiring Author Column

Anna Bell is an aspiring author who can still claim to be in her twenties (just). She daydreams far too much about being a full time writer and living in a tropical paradise with her hubby to be. Until those dreams come true she is a museum curator and lives on the South Coast.

She loves chick lit and when not writing she can usually be found with her head in a book. Her favourite authors include Sophie Kinsella, Freya North, and if she has a good supply of tissues handy, Elizabeth Noble. She also loves a good boogie to cheesy music with her friends, backpacking and strolling beside the sea.

Cesca Major - Contributor

Cesca lives in a lovely little village in Berkshire in a cottage piled high with books.

She has a pretty eclectic taste... Jilly Cooper is happily nestled alongside Victoria Hislop, Tracy Chevalier and Philippa Gregory.

Other than reading Cesca can be found teaching History, writing books, painting decidedly mundane pictures, baking cupcakes or weeping over sad films.

Kirsty Nicole Pole - Reviewer

Kirsty is a full time chick-lit enthusiast, budding writer and once walked into a lamp post whilst reading and walking at the same time, unfortunately this is very much a true story.

Currently living in Leicestershire, when she isn’t reading Kirsty can be found drooling over expensive shoes, buying sparkly things or enjoying a nice bottle of wine with friends.

Her favourite authors include Jo Carnegie, Sasha Wagstaff and Jill Mansell. Kirsty has been known to spend far too much time absorbed in American televisions shows including, ‘One Tree Hill’ and ‘Grey’s Anatomy’.

Cressida McLaughlin - Reviewer

Cressy lives in Norwich with her husband and spen ds her spare time writing novels and reading fiction, from chick-lit to crime to classics. She likes good coffee, the Norfolk coastline and thunderstorms. She will watch anything with Benedict Cumberbatch in (even Star Trek!) and is partial to a good ghost story. 

Her favourite authors include Susan Hill, Karin Slaughter, Sophie Kinsella, Kate Atkinson and Rosamund Lupton. Her favourite chick-lit novel is A Hopeless Romantic by Harriet Evans. Cressy hopes to one day have her own name in raised letters on the cover of a book – perhaps even more than one copy!

Jennifer Joyce - Reviewer

Jennifer is 29 and lives in Manchester. Her main hobby is dodging housework but she's also a massive fan of reading. Her favourite authors are Marian Keyes, Dorothy Koomson and Lisa Jewell. Jennifer has always been a daydreamer and hopes to see her little worlds published in a book one day.

Jenny Banks - Reviewer

Jenny is a 21 year old book lover from a lovely village in Cumbria. Currently studying Creative Writing at Bath Spa University, Jenny is an aspiring author and hopes to get a job in publishing. When not pretending to be an Austen heroine around Bath, she spends a lot of her time reading, writing and watching Doctor Who.

Jenny's taste in books is pretty diverse…her creaking bookshelf holds anything from Agatha Christie to Jill Mansell.

Lisa Spoors is a book loving Geordie with a passion for handbags, pink wine and cakes. Having finally shelved her childhood dreams of becoming either a Las Vegas showgirl or a member of the A Team, Lisa is currently attempting to write her first novel but keeps getting distracted by Tom Hardy movies. Her favourite authors are Jackie Collins, Jane Green and Belinda Jones. She lives just outside Newcastle Upon Tyne with her husband.

Helen Redfern has recently moved to a country village in Cambridgeshire and is throwing herself into The Good Life.
